16. Account Deactivation, Account Deletion & Data Retention

    Account Deactivation
    When a user deactivates their account:

    • The user may reactivate the account in the future and regain access to the same account, subject to applicable platform policies.

    Account Deletion
    When a user permanently deletes their account:

    • The account cannot be recovered, restored, or accessed again.
    • The user will no longer be able to log in using that account.
    • Permanent account deletion does not result in the immediate removal of all associated data.

    To help maintain platform security, prevent fraud, investigate misuse, comply with legal obligations, and resolve potential disputes, Exclusive Resell will securely retain the deleted account's information for six (6) months from the date of account deletion.
    After the six-month retention period has expired, the retained account data will be permanently deleted or anonymized, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law or is necessary in connection with an ongoing legal, regulatory, or fraud investigation.
    Platform-Initiated Account Deactivation
    Exclusive Resell reserves the right to deactivate or suspend any user account if the user is found to have violated the Platform's Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, community guidelines, or any applicable law.
    Where appropriate, the Platform may provide the reason for the deactivation. During the period of deactivation, the account will remain inaccessible to the user and may only be reactivated at the sole discretion of Exclusive Resell after review of the relevant circumstances.
